Fresh from the success of her first ever film soundtrack design for Darren Aronofsky’s Oscar winning Black Swan… Mary Anne Hobbs returns to North America.
In April 2011, she jets in for a mixed series of solo performances and curated showcases including special guests Gonja Sufi, Lorn, Take, Strangeloop, and more on select dates.
Its been almost a year since Mary Anne Hobbs tore up the dancefloors of North America. Her impromptu ‘Volcano Refugee Tour’ was staged on the fly when she was stranded after Coachella by the great plumes of Iceland’s volcanic ash that shut down the skies.
Her last North American tour yielded features in the LA Weekly, NPR, Urb Magazine, and countless other key media outlets. Stay tuned for another major announcement from the Mary Anne Hobbs camp and please inquire about interviews, hi-res photos, and more.
