Electric Cowbell Records presented its sonic brochure of 7-inches, remixes, and exclusives tracks through its debut compilation 101 Things To Do In Bongolia. Now the label is back to their 7-inch roots and is proud to announce a new release from Karthala 72, coming out on October 2nd.

Karthala 72 is the sound of a 1970′s psychedelic freakout only heavier than you ever heard it before! Tribal rhythms and hypnotic guitar from a time when the raw sound was king. Taking influence from the traditional music of the Comoros, to Anatolian bazaar jazz to the more familiar beat of percussion led afro funk. Karthala 72 this was just the beginning.
